Peace X Peace’s
Global Network of Women’s Circles

“Turn around and ask other women what has happened in their lives and you will see you are not alone. I'm never alone.” –
Isabel Allende, author and member," PEACE X PEACE Advisory Council

Isabel Allende

PEACE X PEACE (pronounced “peace by peace”) empowers women as the most effective means to enrich lives locally and promote peace globally. We connect women’s groups (“Circles”) in the United States with women’s Circles everywhere in the world—directly via the Internet—for the exchange of information and personal experiences that typically result in mutually supportive actions.

The PEACE X PEACE news service culls and presents stories that highlight and affect the status of women around the world, their efforts towards gender parity and building peace, their inclusion in peace negotiation and implementation, and their progress, or lack of, in related issues. Also included in this news service are stories that highlight conflict resolution and restorative justice that may educate and support the work of peacemakers. This service aims to present stories that may not get wide coverage in major news media outlets.

Email us at resources@peacexpeace.org with questions or comments!

There are many different types of Circles in the PEACE X PEACE Global Network and the innumerable outcomes from their exchanges are both tangible and rich. We invite you to learn more about the experiences of connected Sister Circles directly from Circle members themselves by reading their stories. You may see yourself in one of these many stories as you read about their questions, hopes, concerns, insights, determination, and supportive actions.
