Integral University

At this very time, there is something of an "integral revolution" occurring around the world, as all the old and partial approaches are being questioned, and new and more integral responses are being explored.
Integral University is the world’s first institution of higher education dedicated to integral theory and practice using the AQAL approach. The AQAL approach—the all quadrants, all levels, all lines, all states, and all types approach, established by Ken Wilber—is a more comprehensive and inclusive map of reality. Through our pioneering use of the AQAL approach as an a orienteering theory that spans all of our offerings, Integral University is at the leading edge of the wave of integral awareness that is now emerging in the world.

Integral University offers accredited master’s degrees and certificate programs through its partnerships with John F. Kennedy University and Fielding University. In addition to the degrees IU offers as a “networked university,” we also support integral research and outreach in the world and are developing our own online presence.

Our online presence will include over 23 centers of integral research and application. At IU, you will find both theory and practice in domains such as Business, Art, Psychiatry, Ecology, Politics, and Social Service, with many new areas in the works. Each domain is applying the AQAL approach in fruitful, new ways, discovering truths and approaches that are deeper and more effective, because they are more inclusive—or integral.

Each centre at IU is led by the foremost experts in the field. Within each centre, you’ll have access to online courses ranging from an introduction to integral theory to its most advanced applications; seminars and workshops for both personal and professional growth; conference calls and dialogues with Integral University faculty; audio and video recordings of conversations between leading edge thinkers; and an on-line library—the largest repository anywhere in the world of integral theory and practice.

When you join Integral University, you become part of a community of learners who are bringing integral awareness into their lives. Through on-line forums and real world events, you’ll meet, get to know, and network with thousands of people from around the world.

One of the most exciting features of Integral University is that you have the opportunity to contribute to the development of this emerging field of human knowledge. In a traditional university, the canon is already determined. But because the entire field of integral theory and practice is emerging as we speak, you have the chance to inform its development.
